Perspektif ekibi olarak bir süredir yayına hazırlanıyorduk. Bu süreçte yayın ilkelerimizi kaleme aldık. Gönüllü öğrencilerimizden oluşan haber merkezimizi kurduk. Haber merkezimizde öğrencilerimiz gazetecilik pratiğini uygulama içinde geliştirmeye, haberlerini ilmik ilmik örmeye başladılar. Ve o an geldi. Yakın Doğu Üniversitesi Öğrenci Gazetesi Perspektif artık yayında!

Perspektif sadece Yakın Doğu Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi öğrencilerine değil, üniversite genelinde üreten, yazan ve yayınlamak için mecra arayan tüm öğrencilere ve öğretim elemanlarına açık bir çevrimiçi haber sitesidir. Öğrencilerin haber yazma, haber toplama, haber düzenleme ve yayınlama gibi haberciliğin tüm süreçlerini deneyimleyebilecekleri bir uygulama platformudur.

Perspektif, evrensel hak ve özgürlüklere saygılı, hak odaklı barış gazeteciliği bakış açısına ve toplumsal sorumluluk bilincine sahip bir yayıncılık anlayışını benimsemektedir. Hakikate ve farklılıklara saygı, Perspektif’in temel ilkeleridir. Perspektif, yayın ilkelerinde, üniversite topluluğunun bilgiye erişim hakkını savunmakta ve yayınlarında ırk, milliyet, etnik köken, cinsiyet, cinsel yönelim, yaş, sağlık, engellilik ve inançlara dair ötekileştirici bir dil kullanmayacağını ilan etmektedir.

Perspektif’i sadece takip etmekle kalmayın; içerik üreticisi olarak bize katılın. Haber, fotoğraf, video, podcast... Perspektif hepimizin gazetesi... Birlikte üretelim, birbirimizinden haberdar olalım.

As the Perspektif team, we’ve been preparing for this launch for some time now. Throughout this process, we established our editorial principles and formed our newsroom, composed entirely of student volunteers. In our newsroom, students have started to develop their journalism skills through hands-on experience, weaving together their stories, thread by thread. And now the moment has come: Near East University’s student news site Perspektif is live!

Perspektif is an open-access online news platform—not only for students of the Faculty of Communication, but for all students and faculty across the university who wish to create, write, and share their work. It offers students the opportunity to engage in every step of the journalistic process: reporting, writing, editing, and publishing.

Perspektif is grounded in a commitment to universal rights and freedoms, embraces a rights-based peace journalism perspective, and upholds a strong sense of social responsibility. Respect for truth and diversity are at the core of our values. In our editorial principles, Perspektif defends the university community’s right to access information and pledges not to use discriminatory language based on race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, health, disability, or belief.
